IV Ogólnopolski Konkurs Chórów im. św. Jana Bosko Aleksandrów Kujawski

 

We are happy to invite you to participate in the first edition of the Joseph Swider International Festival, which will be held from 19 to 22 November 2015 in Cieszyn. During festival there will be:  1. Nationwide Academic Conference with some guests from abroad “Performance creations of the modern cultural market” on 19th November 2015.  2. International workshop and seminary for conductors on 20th 2015. 3. International Choral Competition by the name of Joseph Swider on 21st November 2015.  4. Festival concerts in the cities of Cieszyn Silesia region on 20th to 22nd November 2015.  5. Gala concert on 21st November 2015.  You are welcome to take part in the competition. The main prize is Grand Prix by the name of Joseph Swider and special prizes: - for the best performance of prof. Joseph Swider’s musical piece -For the best performance of modern composer’s piece -For the most interesting interpreatation of sacral music piece -For the best performance of folk-inspired piece -For the most interesting performance of composer from Cieszyn Silesia region Grand Prix and all the special prizes are financial prizes. All the prizes: 20.000 zlotych/ 5.000 euro. Application deadline: 30th of September 2015. You will get detailed information writing on: festiwalswider@us.edu.pl. We will answer any questions. Festival concerts will be held both on the Polish and Czech side of the Olza river. We count on you and we are looking forward to meet you. Organizer and inventor of the festival is Choir of the University of Silesia “Harmonia” in Cieszyn, which represents University of Silesia in Katowice and Institute of Music in Cieszyn and District Office of Cieszyn and Cieszyn Town Hall.
